How It Works

Four steps from the first message to a part on your shop floor — and what happens at each one.

  1. Tell Us What You Need

Send the year, make, model and engine size — or better, the VIN. It takes a minute and removes every fitment ambiguity.

  2. Get Your Quote

We check availability and come back with price, recorded mileage, what is included and the warranty options that apply.

  3. Confirm Your Order

Approve the quote and we reserve the unit and schedule freight. Nothing moves until you say so.

  4. Receive Your Part

Your engine or transmission ships to your shop or address with tracking so you can plan the install.

What to have ready

The process is quickest when you have these to hand before you start:

  • Your VIN — the 17-character number on the dashboard, door jamb or registration
  • What failed, and how — symptoms help us judge whether a replacement is really the answer
  • Delivery ZIP code — so freight is in the quote rather than a surprise later
  • Whether delivery is commercial or residential — a shop with a forklift costs meaningfully less than a home address needing a liftgate

Receiving the delivery

Engines and transmissions move as palletised freight, not parcel post. A few things worth knowing before the truck arrives:

  • Someone needs to be there to receive and sign for it
  • Residential delivery usually needs a liftgate, which is arranged in advance and costs more than a commercial drop
  • Inspect the pallet before you sign — note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork
  • Photograph the unit on the pallet before it is moved, in case of a freight claim

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a quote take?

Most quote requests are answered within one business day. If you need an answer faster, calling is quicker than the form.

How long does shipping take?

Transit time depends on distance and whether the delivery point is commercial or residential. Typical domestic freight runs a few business days once the unit is collected; your confirmation will carry the estimate.

Can you deliver to my repair shop?

Yes, and it is usually the better option. Commercial addresses generally have a forklift or dock, which avoids the extra cost and scheduling of a liftgate residential delivery.

Do I need to pay before the part ships?

Orders are confirmed before freight is scheduled. Payment terms are set out on your quote.

What if the part does not fit?

Contact us before installing it. If a unit was supplied incorrectly against the VIN you provided, we will put it right. See the returns page for the full process.
