Automatic
The bulk of what we move — from four-speed units in older vehicles to modern eight- and ten-speed boxes.
Automatic, manual and CVT transmissions, plus transfer cases — matched to your vehicle and shipped across the United States.
Replacement transmissions
Transmission failure tends to arrive suddenly and quote high. A rebuild means labour-heavy teardown with the final bill unknown until the unit is open — which is why a tested used transmission is often the faster and more predictable route.
We supply automatic, manual and CVT units, along with transfer cases for four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles, all matched to your specific vehicle rather than to a model year.
Coverage
The bulk of what we move — from four-speed units in older vehicles to modern eight- and ten-speed boxes.
Five- and six-speed manual gearboxes for cars and light trucks, including four-wheel-drive applications.
Continuously variable units common in modern compacts and crossovers, where correct matching is critical.
Four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive transfer cases, matched on drivetrain and gear ratio.
Transmission fitment depends on more variables than engine fitment. The correct unit is determined by engine size, drivetrain, sometimes the axle ratio, and frequently by a build date that splits a single model year into two incompatible versions.
This is the single most common cause of a wrong part arriving at a shop. Sending your VIN with the request removes the guesswork entirely, and costs you nothing.
Not every shifting problem is a failed transmission. Low or burnt fluid, a failing solenoid pack, a bad speed sensor or an engine-side misfire can all present as slipping or harsh shifts, and all cost far less to fix.
It is worth having the fault codes read and the fluid checked before committing to a replacement unit. If a replacement genuinely is the answer, we will be here — and you will have ruled out the cheaper causes first.
Questions
Send us your VIN. Transmission fitment depends on engine size, drivetrain and sometimes the axle ratio, and two otherwise identical vehicles can take different units. The VIN removes the guesswork.
Both, along with CVT units and transfer cases for four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles.
Whether a torque converter is included varies by unit, so each quote states it explicitly. If one is not included, we will tell you before you order rather than after it arrives.
Some transmissions carry a refundable core charge — a deposit returned when your old unit is sent back. Where a core charge applies it is shown on the quote, with the return window stated.
Send your VIN and we will confirm exactly which unit your vehicle takes.
